Hampshire law firm celebrates coveted industry honour
A Southampton employment law specialist is celebrating a prestigious national accolade.
DC Employment Solicitors has been recognised as the south east’s top human resources practice in an awards initiative run by the industry body Legal 500.
The firm, selected as regional representative on a nationwide shortlist, provides legal services on workplace issues for both employers and employees.
Daryl Cowan, Director of DC Employment Solicitors, said: “To be selected by the prestigious Legal 500 to represent the south east for human resources issues in the national awards is a great achievement. It is further recognition of our continued success in serving and delivering value to a growing number of clients.”
The award shortlisting follows the recent publication of the annual Legal 500 independent global guide to the quality of client service from lawyers.
DC Employment Solicitors retained its ‘Leading Firm’ status in the ‘industry bible’ and was noted for its ‘superb advice’ on cross-border employment issues, including TUPE transfers.
The newly-established Legal 500 Awards are based on opinions obtained via 50,000 interviews during the annual research for the guide in the UK. The awards are judged on the level of contribution to a particular business sector or practice area.
Legal 500, which ranks and categorises law firms, is acted on by commercial and private clients, corporate counsel, professional advisers and other referrers of legal work. Mr Cowan and fellow partners Darren Tibble and Laurence Dunn were each cited personally this year for being ‘sound, experienced lawyers’.
